But God, faith, Healing, Needing Help, nothing but jesus, Phillipians 4:7, Relying on God, Thanksgiving

And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.’ Phillipians 4:7

I didn’t always get this. The ‘peace’ that Jesus speaks of. The peace we can have even amidst our storms. I’m starting to get it though. The more time I spend with Him in His Word and in prayer…and the more I give my heart, mind and spirit to Him the more I feel this peace.

I used to be someone that became anxious at the slightest issue in my life, which was a problem because I had a lot LOL. I consistently felt nauseous, had stomach issues-all because I didn’t have the faith in God that He deserves.

No matter how big and scary our issues may be, our God is much, much bigger. What’s even better than that? He already knows the outcome! In that I remember the scripture that tells us that ‘He will work out for good all things for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.’ (Romans 8:28)

And guess what?! That’s you and me! Woohoo!

So…’Bring all your cares to Him for He cares about YOU.’ 1 Peter 5:7

Praying God pours out His blessing upon you today.

God bless and in precious name of Jesus!

During the Lenten season I want to take time to appreciate the life that God has given me. And part of that is the friendship of some awesome Christian sisters. Continue reading “Friendships”

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1

In church a few weeks ago, the elder that ran the service discussed how he and his wife keep beehives to make their own honey and that when he went out earlier that week he found just about all of them dead on the ground. Continue reading “Believing Lies”

Being A Thankful Plain Jane

And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psalm 9:10

Thanksgiving is thought to be a day to be Thankful for all that God has blessed us with…right? Then why doesn’t everyone feel that way today? Some may be struggling through personal struggles, whether it be family, health, or financial. While others find the get together with family that they don’t associate regularly with cumbersome and frustrating. Continue reading “Being A Thankful Plain Jane”
