Great Is His Faithfulness

Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.” Proverbs 4:25-27

I haven’t been feeling well over the last few weeks and the time has made me more aware than I’d like to admit of my shortcomings. In several aspects of my life I’ve gone the opposite direction than I had hoped for. And that right there is part of the problem. Giving Thanks

“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

I am so thankful this Memorial Day for the freedoms that I have. You see, I tend to allow life to distract me from recognizing all the sacrifices that have been made for me to be allowed to have all the freedoms I possess being a United States Citizen. I think that especially in this day and age, where we tend to expect everything in the blink of an eye, we don’t realize what those freedoms have cost.
