Giving Thanks

“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

I am so thankful this Memorial Day for the freedoms that I have. You see, I tend to allow life to distract me from recognizing all the sacrifices that have been made for me to be allowed to have all the freedoms I possess being a United States Citizen. I think that especially in this day and age, where we tend to expect everything in the blink of an eye, we don’t realize what those freedoms have cost. Just as our blessings as a Christian, it’s come by the shedding of blood. Continue reading “Giving Thanks”

Memorial Day 2017

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10

Hi friends,

My husband and I spent the day yesterday planting our garden. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this time of year! I love to have my hands in the dirt planting the veggies we will enjoy later this summer and fall. Continue reading “Harvesting”
