Isaiah 26:3-4

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26: 3-4

Good morning friends!

My hubby and I had the priveldge to attend a mid-week Bible study at our church last night. They are doing an ‘Apologetics Cafe’ teaching us about who Jesus is and how other faiths/churches view Him. The time is so filled with information I wish I could record the time to be able to go back to it at a later time, to really absorb what we are learning. What I appreciate most about this time though is it is giving me (us) the knowledge we need to hold onto when we are questioned by others and in times that can cause us to question our faith too.

That is why this piece of scripture stands out to me. ‘You keep him (guard, protect) in perfect (safe, well, happy) peace whose mind (mind, imagination) is stayed (reflexively-to lean upon, take hold of) on you, because he trusts (be confident, sure) in you’-what an awesome reminder to keep our eyes on HIM through all we go through. It is by no mistake that this is reminding us to keep our mind stayed on Him…we will go through times of struggle. We will go through times of attack by Satan. That is why it is so vitally important to be in God’s Word on a daily basis. If we are not in the Word regularly we are not going to have it readily available in our hearts and minds when we need it.

My friends, God and Jesus LOVE you. They love you with everything they are. Jesus died-willingly- for you, knowing YOUR name. Knowing YOUR story and your history. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.’

God has an awesome plan for you. I truly HOPE and pray that you come to Him and find out what it is. Come walk the rest of your life with Him. You truly won’t regret it.

Have an awesome day!

In Jesus’ precious name.

Tara
